In Year 8 we broaden students’ knowledge by introducing them to a wider range of media and processes, whilst building on their core skills. Projects encourage a personal response. This year they have learnt to use the printing press to create etchings to explore the inside of the human body. Students have developed responses to Alice in Wonderland using animation techniques. Students will have the opportunity later in the year to analyse Baroque and Contemporary architecture to construct relief images onto clay tiles.
